Who we are
Crop to Cup means expertise and care at every stage of a coffee bean’s life: from the coffee farm in African or South America, to your espresso cup in Shanghai or New York.

Crop to Cup Coffee Company was founded by Jake Elster and Taylor Mork following their work in the nonprofit and coffee exporter sectors in Uganda. Crop to Cup began in 2007 in the US, in New York and Chicago. Currently, in the US we operate the successful Crop to Cup roasted coffee brand, and we also supply green/unroasted coffee to roasters. In 2011 Crop to Cup expanded import operations to China and we now provide roasters in Asia with fresh, reliable and consistent green coffee.

What we do
In Asia, Crop to Cup is an importer and broker of unique coffees. We provide the supply chain tools for coffee roasters and the F&B industry to connect with their coffee and its origins. We work closely with each community from whom we source coffee so that we can supply the most reliable and consistent coffee sourcing services to our customers. To us and our customers, coffee is so much more than a commodity.

Products and Services
Crop to Cup offers coffee sourcing and import services from around the world to help you access the flavor profile and price point you require for your coffee business. We offer Spot and Contract green coffees in volumes of a single bag (60kg) all the way up to full containers (320 bags).

Spot Coffees include any coffee which we have in stock in our China or US warehouses at any time. Availability changes throughout the year. Please contact us to see what we currently have available for roasters in Asia.

Contract Coffees are coffees that we reserve for roasters based on the monthly and annual volume and quality requirements that they state to us. Reserving Contract Coffees with Crop to Cup ensures that you – as a roaster - will have the quality and quantity of coffee that you need throughout the year, and year after year. Community and Industry Involvement
Crop to Cup is active in quality and sustainability programs in coffee producting countries. By working directly with farmers and other partners in coffee origins, we are working for the long term sustainability of coffee farmers’ families and the environment.

We are also an eager participant in the coffee and wider F&B industries in the US and China. In China we are proud to be the founder and lead sponsor of the Shanghai Coffee Jam, which debuted in 2011 as a successful event promoting coffee education, quality and sustainability. Details about the Shanghai Coffee Jam 2012 will be released in early 2012.
